Nathan McDaniel, Master Electrician.
Nathan McDaniel has been a licensed Master Electrician for over fifty years. He started in the trade the old way — learning by doing, under the supervision of someone who demanded precision — and he never lost that standard.
He founded Great Electric with a simple premise: do the work right, explain it clearly, and charge fairly. No shortcuts. No upsells. No sending a crew you haven't trained yourself.
Over five decades, that approach has earned Great Electric a reputation across River Oaks, Montrose, and Greater Houston that no advertising budget could buy — one built entirely on referrals and repeat clients who trust the name.
How We Work

The electrical trade rewards patience. A connection made in haste is a connection that fails — sometimes immediately, sometimes years later, always at the worst moment. Nathan built Great Electric around the discipline of slowing down.

Nathan has spent as much of his career teaching as he has working. He believes the trade is only as strong as the people entering it — and that the best way to protect quality is to pass it on deliberately.
